Support Victims of Mass Casualty Crimes in Colorado
You can now provide immediate, intermediate, and long-term support to victim's families and survivors.
Since 2018, we’ve provided meaningful support to victims and families affected by mass tragedy. Because of you, healing is possible.
Ways to support:
Colorado Healing Fund partners with a network of vetted agencies and state authorities to ensure that every resource we share is reliable, secure, and tailored to the needs of victims and donors alike. In the aftermath of a tragedy, well-intentioned individuals often turn to social media–driven fundraisers or ad-hoc campaigns that, without proper oversight, can expose families to scams and fraud. By directing people to established victim assistance organizations, verified donation platforms, and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, we help survivors access professional support while safeguarding donor contributions.
These trusted resources not only connect victims with critical services—such as counseling, legal advocacy, and emergency financial aid—but also provide clear guidance on how to verify the legitimacy of charitable campaigns. Our goal is to create a single, authoritative hub where Coloradans can find help quickly, confidently give to those in need, and learn how to spot and report fraudulent activity.
Founded in 2018, the Colorado Healing Fund was created by victim advocates and community leaders to provide a safe, coordinated way to donate after mass tragedies in Colorado.
In a time when online scams can spread quickly, CHF ensures funds reach real victims through trusted channels.
Over the years, CHF has become a vital source of support for survivors, families, and professionals across the state.
We’re committed to leading in mass tragedy response—before, during, and long after the headlines fade.
Colorado Healing Fund is working on expanding our programs and mission. As we do so, we will make edits and updates to our website.
We appreciate your ongoing support, and thank you for visiting.
